| For the past 5 years, NCLI has hosted world-class speakers focused on church planting and renewal within the progressive church. This year, we are taking this to the next level, encouraging church teams passionate about the future of the progressive church to gather in Atlanta on August 8-10, 2012 for a conference focused on teaching and equipping you to grow your ministries and your church.
Our theme this year is Praxis21 – Practicing Progressive Christianity in the 21st Century. At this TED-like conference, you will hear from dozens leading experts on everything from building a dynamic, volunteer children’s ministry to running the “business” of church. Bring a team from your church to take full advantage of this experience.
This three-day conference is the only one of its kind in the nation. During these three days, you will have access to the latest practitioners and experts of our age who are changing the Church as we know it. They will teach you how to birth new churches within existing churches and how to start new ministries in your community. If you are entrepreneurial and thinking of starting or renewing ministries in your area, this conference is for you.
Come in one day early on August 7th for our pre-conference intensives focused on:
- Pre-Launch Church Planting
- Post-Launch Church Planting
- Digital Discipleship: Social Media in Ministry
- Grounding Hispanic Ministry in the Progressive Church
- The Black Church: Defining a Future for Growth
- 21st Century Children and Youth Ministry
- Denominational Staff in a New Age
The main event starts on August 8th at 9am with an amazing lineup of presenters including author of The Great Emergence, Phyllis Tickle; best-selling author of Jesus, CEO, Laurie Beth Jones; founding pastor of Victory for the World Church, Kenneth Samuel; CPR Co-Executive Director and Senior Pastor of Virginia Highland Church, Michael Piazza; author, pastor and founder of Darkwood Brew, Eric Elnes; United Church of Christ Executive Minister, Ben Guess; and CPR CEO, Cameron Trimble. Costs:
INDIVIDUALS
- Get the FULL Praxis Expereince by registering for the pre-conference intensives and the full 3 day conference for $549.00 per person.
- Attend just the 3 day conference for $499 per person.
- Attend just the 1 day pre-conference intensive for $99 per person.
- Come as a seminary student and recieve 1.5 hours of credit for $299.00.

- Attend the 3 day conference for $289 per person for groups 6 - 10 people registering together
- Receive a $25 per-person discount for group members who register for the pre-conference intensives
